Seattle Police were called to Wellsfargo Bank at Westlake Mall around 1:30AM on Thursday, July 21, 2016 for a fight. Supporting officers 7693 Aleksandra I. Margolina and 7669 Brian S. Patenaude Jr. realized a homeless man at the scene didn’t look right. After he failed to respond, they requested the fire department and started CPR.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene after about 20 minutes of medical intervention. Although the man wasn’t revived, the immediate action the officers took is significant. Officer Patenaude Jr. performed CPR for about two minutes.
